What is your favorite recipe from your new book?

“No way I can pick one recipe that is like picking my favorite child. Depends on the season and my mood. But at this very second, I sure could go for my pimento cheese stuffed hamburger with tater tots tucked under a bun.”

If you had not become a chef, what other occupation do you think you would have followed?

“For sure, florist. I absolutely love creating. I love being around flowers. They give me such joy.”
