Behind the Scenes of our Virtual Tour

With spring and summer markets being postponed to later months, we wanted to find a way to bring our new introductions and showrooms to you and decided to film a virtual tour! We chose two locations; the homes of our lead furniture designer Cristina Jabbour and our founders Bob Berry and Lucy Woodson, both located here in Memphis, Tennessee where Worlds Away has its headquarters. 

Here are a few stills from behind the scenes before we can show you the finished product. We have lots of detail scenes featuring our new finishes, and we blended our styles in with the existing furnishings of the homes to demonstrate how Worlds Away pieces seamlessly work within a room to give an updated look. 

A local student and aspiring film director helped us film and edit our tour. Here she is working with Executive Creative Director Neal Edwards at the home of Cristina Jabbour as National Sales Manager Jonathan Cochran looks on. 

Filming is hard work, so Neal takes 5 in the JUDE BW chair with his feet up on the LYANNA PN stool. However, the real star of this shot is the CANNON ABRWAL table with a radial walnut top. 

On to the second location, the home of Bob Berry and Lucy Woodson that they affectionately refer to as Woodberry. Neal talks with Bob and Lucy to make a plan to showcase all the Worlds Away product while Jonathan stands with papers in hand looking official. You can see TONS of our pieces including the new TOP HAT ice bucket in the foreground on top of our stunning HENDRIX ABR acrylic and brass table. 

Bob goofs around with his own top hat on to deliver champagne on a tray to Neal and Lucy, just out of frame. 

Some final shots. We made sure to get images that showed the scale and function of our pieces, like this new EILEEN GL Greek key cocktail ottoman that perfectly fits in the center of this sofa and chair layout that is conducive to conversation. Available in black powder coat and faux white ostrich upholstery as well.
