Art by Design 2019

For a fourth consecutive year, Memphis’ top interior designers teamed up to benefit ArtsMemphis at the city’s most anticipated fundraising event, Art by Design.

Worlds Away joined two dozen local designers to create custom “vignettes” inside the chic gallery showroom, highlighting their various talents and unique aesthetic. We were privileged to provide furnishings and accessories from our local Worlds Apart outlet to decorate the space. This collaborative effort not only allowed Worlds Away to connect with fellow artists and designers but also to assist in fostering Memphis’ local community through the arts.

Host of the weekend’s design festivities, ArtsMemphis is a non-profit organization that works to sustain Memphis’ world-renowned cultural vitality. ArtsMemphis Board member Greg Baudoin founded Art by Design in 2016 as an annual curated series of events recognizing Memphis’ interior design community and celebrating our city’s artists and arts organizations. The event engaged 65 sponsors and designers, raising more than $660,000 over the last four years. This fund benefits ArtsMemphis through grants to 75 arts groups and artists each year.
